Sales Representative – Supportive Housing & Nonprofit Partnerships
New York City

We are seeking an experienced, relationship-driven sales professional with a proven track record in the nonprofit and supportive housing sector in New York City. The ideal candidate has built their career working with New York City institutions such as housing providers, shelters, charter schools, and other community-based organizations – and comes equipped with the network, insight, and credibility to open doors and grow new business.

As a leading provider of maintenance services for supportive housing and nonprofit facilities, our team at Liberty Maintenance is committed to helping organizations create safe, well-maintained environments where residents and staff can thrive. We’re looking for someone who shares that passion and can leverage their existing industry connections to expand our reach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage Existing Network: Utilize your established relationships within the nonprofit and supportive housing community to identify opportunities and bring in new clients.
  • Sales Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute targeted sales strategies that align with sector needs and company goals, driving sustainable business growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted partner to nonprofitexecutives, housing directors, and facility managers—building long-termrelationships rooted in trust and reliability.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay informed on housing policy, funding opportunities, and sector challenges to position our services as solutions that support organizational goals.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Craft compelling proposals, negotiate agreements, and secure partnerships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, high-quality service delivery, and responsive client support.
  • Reporting & Pipeline Management: Track outreach, opportunities, and client engagement in the CRM system, and report regularly on progress toward goals.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6+ years of sales, business development, or partnership experience in the nonprofit, housing, or human services sectors in New York City.
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging personal/professional networks to generate new business.
  • Strong understanding of nonprofit operations, supportive housing models, and the funding landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet targets, and thrive in a mission-driven environment.
